Switching from Lever to Recruitis

Lever's implementation fees and per-employee pricing add up fast. Here's what changes when you move to Recruitis instead.

Why teams look at switching from Lever

Pricing you only see after talking to sales

Lever quotes are custom, so you don't know the final price until you've gone through a sales process. Recruitis publishes flat, per-tier pricing for every plan.

A costly, slow implementation

Lever implementation typically takes 4-8 weeks and comes with a one-time fee of $15,000-25,000. Recruitis has zero implementation fee and is typically live within a few days to a week.

Per-employee pricing on top of that

Lever bills based on company headcount, not just recruiting seats. Recruitis includes unlimited users on every plan, so adding hiring managers doesn't change your bill.

A few gaps you'd otherwise fill with other tools

No native SMS messaging, no built-in candidate or hiring manager experience (NPS) measurement, no Central European job board integrations, and no SAP SuccessFactors integration. All four are included in Recruitis.

What migrates, and how

We use Recruitis' API to bring your LeverTRM data across, guided by our implementation team.

  • Full candidate profiles, CVs and attachments
  • GDPR consent expiration dates, so compliance tracking carries over without a gap
  • Notes and tags, including the position each candidate applied to, added as a tag so it stays clear what they applied for

Typical timeline: a few days to a week from signed contract to go-live, including team training.

Included with every Recruitis plan

Data migration from Lever is included at no extra cost on every Recruitis plan, from Basic to Enterprise. There's no separate implementation fee on top of your subscription, unlike Lever's $15,000-25,000 one-time charge.

Recruitis Switch Program

Two separate ways to make switching easier if you're still under contract with Lever. They solve different problems and aren't combined automatically.

Option A: Contract Buyout

A credit toward your new subscription

Switch with a credit toward your new Recruitis subscription. Eligible credit is based on your documented remaining Lever balance, capped at up to 50% of your eligible first-year Recruitis subscription.

Option B: No Double Payment

No overlapping subscription fees

Start using Recruitis during your switch. Your paid Recruitis subscription begins once your current Lever term ends, within the program's approved bridging period.

Neither option cancels your existing Lever contract, that's handled directly between you and Lever. Exact eligibility and terms are confirmed with our team based on your documentation.

Where Lever still has an edge

LeverTRM's built-in CRM is genuinely strong for teams that run long-term, proactive outreach to passive candidates across multiple roles. Recruitis' Talent Pool covers candidate reuse and sourcing within your pipeline, but it isn't a full relationship-management CRM. If ongoing passive-candidate nurturing is the main reason you use Lever, weigh this carefully before switching.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move my LeverTRM data to Recruitis?
Yes. Full candidate profiles, attachments, GDPR consent dates, notes and tags migrate through Recruitis' API, with our implementation team guiding the process from start to finish. The position a candidate applied to isn't migrated as a separate job record, it's added as a tag on the candidate instead.
How does the total cost compare once implementation is included?
Lever implementation typically costs $15,000-25,000 and takes 4-8 weeks on top of your subscription. Recruitis has no implementation fee and typically goes live within a few days to a week.
Do I lose CRM-style features by switching?
Recruitis' Talent Pool lets you search, filter and reuse candidates across your pipeline, but it isn't a full relationship-management CRM the way LeverTRM is. If long-term passive-candidate nurturing is central to your process, review this with our team before switching.
Is migration really free on every plan?
Yes. Data migration and onboarding are included in your Recruitis subscription on every plan, there's no separate implementation fee.
What if we're mid-contract with Lever?
Our Switch Program has two options for exactly this: a credit toward your new subscription based on your remaining Lever balance, or a bridging period so your paid Recruitis subscription only starts once your Lever term ends. Either way, you keep dealing with Lever directly on canceling your existing contract.
What's the difference between Contract Buyout and No Double Payment?
Contract Buyout gives you a credit toward your new Recruitis subscription based on your documented remaining Lever balance, capped at up to 50% of your first-year subscription. No Double Payment instead delays when your Recruitis subscription starts being billed, so you're not paying for both systems during the transition. The two solve different problems and aren't combined by default, our team will help you work out which fits your situation.
